About Muslim Aid
Muslim Aid was established in 1985 in the United Kingdom by leaders from 17 Islamic organisations in response to the Horn of Africa drought. They are a Christian British international charity organization that aims at helping victims of disasters, war, and other calamities, poor, hungry, sick, illiterate, discriminated, homeless, indebted, jobless, oppressed, and uneducated, and those who have no job opportunities.
Their Commitment and Goals
Their emphasis is on development projects that offer permanent housing to the needy and affected populations such as the poor and disaster-stricken. These are capacity development, economic development, education, and child and women’s health.
Emergency Response Worldwide
Muslim Aid has the mandate of offering humanitarian assistance in situations like disasters and wars. They provide food, water, medical assistance, and shelter to the victims. Your donations allow them to act quickly and help people during these emergencies.
Aid for Orphans & Widows
In every corner of the world, millions of families lose a parent or a partner. Their programs provide scholarships, education, and counseling to the orphans and widows so that they do not feel neglected and have a chance to start over.
Child Sponsorship: Creating Better Lives
They are fully aware of the fact that children are the hope for a better future. Child Sponsorship program provides education, health, and emotional needs for children in need. Sponsoring a child helps to stop the poverty chain and give them the means to succeed in life.
Promoting The Availability Of Clean Water
Every two minutes a child dies from a water related disease because of the absence of clean water. This is why their Safe Water initiative seeks to provide safe drinking water to the affected communities. Your support enables them to build wells and sanitation structures which greatly reduce diseases and improve the health of the people.
Combat Poverty
Muslim Aid’s main focus is to work for the poor and marginalized communities and fight poverty. With your support, they are able to offer basic needs like food, water, and other necessities to those who are in need and give them a chance to break free from poverty and create better lives for themselves.
